Blessed & Thankful!!

Hey guys.. it has been five months since I didn't write a blog post..I'm doing well and blessed,  sometimes it's good to take a break..Refocus..Reconnect..& Regroup!! Hope you all doing well, on my five months hiatus I have been dealing with some brands but still haven't landed where I want to land, but with determination & patience all will be happening!😉 I'm not one to give up easily especially when I can see the light is about to shine bright in the tunnel.
I miss you guys much and hope you guys miss my blog post although I'm not an expert @blogging but I appreciate you all for stopping by.  Couple days ago was  my blessed day I'm 48 years young & looking sexy😉😊..I'm grateful..blessed..thankful..for what the Most High had instilled in me..& although my Mom & my Dad is no longer here with me I always give them the credit of raising such a beautiful woman I have become!! Yes Me a beautiful woman with a lot of self confidence and I stand for nothing else but I'm a QUEEN IN MY OWN LANE!! Happy 48th blessed years to me..moi.. THANK YOU JESUS FOR ALLOWING ME TO SEE THESE YEARS AND I ASK FOR MORE BLESSED..HEALTHY..WEALTHY..BLESSED YEARS TO COME MY WAY!!🙏🙏

Mother's day weekend getaway!!

Mother's Day Weekend Getaway 2019...



Hey lovelies..how is everyone doing, on my end everyone is doing great. I have been a bit busy with work since I came back from vacation but it's all good. I'm going to be short and sweet on this post, well as you guys know it was Mother's day couple weeks ago and I hope you all had a fantastic Mother's day, just in case i didn't wish all the Mother's, Aunties,  Sisters,  Grandmas, Stepmoms and also the fathers that play both roles a happy Mother's day wishes to you all ....you all doing a job well done, the world may not see what you do but the Most High does!!! It was bitter sweet for me cause my Mother is no longer with me but her spirit is with me all the time. I surely miss her everyday..Tears.. but deep in my soul she's resting beautifully.

Well on Mother's day weekend my hubby & I  decided to go to Cape cod/Martha's Vineyard it wasn't plan it was very spontaneous which is my thing, I love being spontaneous..my husband is the planner he has to plan everything..not me, but we balance each other. Well let me tell you guys if you haven't been to Martha's Vineyard I will suggest that you plan a trip to go..its an island which is big..it has 6 different towns, very clean, food is great..each town have their own characteristics..we didn't get to visit all the towns but we went to 3 different towns..which is Vineyard Haven, Oak bluffs and Edgartown. Next time we go we will stay in Martha's Vineyard instead of Cape Cod so we can explore the island more, one day in Martha's Vineyard is not enough. From Cape Cod we had to drive 40 mins to park our car and take a free shuttle to the ferry to Martha's Vineyard...from the ferry to Martha's Vineyard is about 45mins which was cool. Guys it's so many different places to explore without getting on a plane..a couple of hours driving can take you to paradise lol, no seriously especially if you want to remain local, don't take me wrong I don't mind getting on a plane to go see the world which I plan on doing but when you just want a quick getaway without the stress of the whole ordeal of the airport shananingan's, just get in your car and explore these hidden gems!! It took us 5hrs driving from NY to Cape Cod not bad at all..we have driven longer than that so that was a breeze for us. Any hoops my Mother's day Weekend was fantastic... oh did I tell you guys the people there is so friendly and welcoming...So if you guys have a chance to visit Cape cod/Martha's vineyard, like everywhere else during off peak season it's less expensive to stay, than during peak season so be mindful of that.. so here's some beautiful pics that my hubby took of me while there having a great time..we also went to a chili festival which was cool..we try so many different chili's that we don't want to have chili no time soon.😁🤣 also we went to a jazz session that was amazing..so much to do but so little time..can wait until I retire from work..it's around the corner 4 more years I retire God's Will..Lord I can't wait!!😊😉!!
Ok guys I had said short and sweet but you know I can stay here for days telling you every little thing I did. Again enjoy the pics and I will be back soon writing on my next weekend getaway which was last weekend we went to Washington DC for my brother in law dirty30 party & Taco, Beer, Tequila Festival..had a ball! It has been a minute! The love of this coat...

Hey guys.. how's everyone doing? Hope you all doing great since the new year started. January flew by wanted to write a blog post but that didn't happen..was a bit busy with work and just reflecting on some new goals, so here we are into the second month of the new year. What you guys have accomplished so far? Have you guys been following ya new year's resolution or nay..I don't do new years resolution, I set short goals and long term goals and I tweak my goals as I go along throughout the year. I'm sure everyone does what works for them and this technique works for me. So here we are into February..black history month, Valentine's day..New York Fashion week coming soon..all of these events happening.. to me black history is everyday..and Valentine's day is everyday in my book😉😊 I'm just saying, and New York Fashion Week is an event where new brands show case their brand, and of course what's coming out for the spring/summer, one year I will be there..last year i had the opportunity to attend an event for NYFW but was unable to attend and i regret it. So for all my bloggers..fashionistas..etc. have a great time @NYFW take a lot of pics and can't wait to see your looks!
So here's a couple of looks I took with one of my favorite coat for this season..and I will have this coat for a while I love the way it looks, the animal print and the way it feels is just too good. 😉 Here I styled it two different ways hope you all like it..I think I did a pretty good job..I got a lot of Dms on this coat..where did I purchase it..no where special @shoedazzle where they have some descent stuff at a reasonable price!! So here I go with my love of this coat. Hey guys hope you all doing great, I'm sure you all had a great Xmas. Mines was quiet, I had  to work didn't have the day off but it's all good. The bottom line is I'm alive, I can see, I'm healthy & blessed, so therefore my Xmas was great, although couple weeks before Xmas it was a bit hard for me one of my very nice supervisor at work pass away and one of my son's friend mom also passed away....these two Angels had beautiful souls they were so dear to me...RIP Joanne & AWD MacFarlane you both will be greatly missed. So let's charge the subject a bit..how was 2018 for you guys..did you all accomplished your goals?  And if you didn't 2019 is around the corner just try again and hopeful this year you will, don't beat yourself up things happens. As far as for me I don't really set goals because of the new year ..I set goals as I go along throughout the year..I have short term goals and long term goals so I'm not one who wait for the new year to set goals but if you do it's all good..whatever works for you! But one thing I know 2019 is going to be GREAT!! Thanksgiving 2018 Road trip..

Hey lovelies..hope everyone had a great week and a blessed Thanksgiving last week, boy the week flew by so quickly today is the last day of the month..time surely don't wait for no one, any hoops flashback to last week I had such a great Thanksgiving with my in laws in Houston Texas. Hubby and I drove I wanted to do a road trip for the summer but didn't have the chance to do it, so this was my opportunity to make it happen, so we decided to drive to Texas..it took us about 26hrs driving and resting for gas..it wasn't bad at all, the traffic going and coming back home was great no traffic at all and the weather was so great..no rain nor snow so it was a great road trip..if I have the chance to do it again I will! Yes I love driving long distance, I drove the whole trip and hubby just kept me entertained! Yes I did going and coming back home. It was nice spending time with my in laws and also my hubby was so happy to see his mom, sisters and brother he had a big smile on his face the whole time we were there, so happy to see him happy to see his family. #blessed #grateful & #thankful. So here is some fun things we did while there..went to the movies I saw Widow a must see movie..it was great..Viola Davis such a great actress, went to NRG Stadium for a football game that my sister's in law son plays in! It was a great game...you go Lenard Randolph you did well. He's #79 peep him!!😉😉 and of course he had game night and fun cooking for Thanksgiving in the kitchen.  So here's some pictures I took while down there.

Hey queens and kings, hope you all doing great..& hope everyone is preparing for the holidays that is so near..Thanksgiving is around the corner and so is Christmas and the new year, are you guys ready? Well the way the days are running we gotta be ready to enjoy the holidays with our loved ones, ready or not the holidays will be here before our eyes, just enjoy every moment. On that note this past weekend was my birthday..this queen is 47and blessed, thankful, grateful, and striving to be even a better person...there's always room for improvement. This new year I will focus more towards how I can help others more especially the youth of today, and of course work hard towards my brand. Chapter 47 will be a year of more blessings I'm claiming it. NO NEGATIVITY HERE.. it's not allow in my zone. Chapter #47 will be full of empowering others better it be self love, or making the best positive decisions. It's going to be a great year and beyond. So I didn't do anything extravagant for my birthday but was happy to see the day and hope to see more more birthdays ahead.  My birthday weekend was fun with a pre-birthday dinner on Saturday with few friends & family and after dinner went for couple of steps at a lounge in the city, it was fun...and for my birthday which was actually the 4th, hubby and my brother-inlaw and his

wife went out again for dinner more food & drinks..so now I'm on a diet.😂😁 let see how  long this diet last 🤔🤨 at the end of the day I had a fantastic birthday & thank you guys for all that wishes me a happy bday..so much love & support, I appreciate everyone of you guys!! Thank you, thank you.
